Chistening gown and more

I made this Christening gown to fit size 6 months and just love it on 1of my many dolls

It has a matching petticoat, bonnet and shoes. It is available in my Etsy shop.   Etsy.com/shop/jeanetteodonnell

This is Rocky on one of his good days. He is now 14 yrs old and really struggling now.
It’s a sad time when you love them so much, but at 14 he’s had a good life.

I had a nice day searching op shops yesterday and scored the most beautiful set of parfait glasses
I can’t wait to use them

Well that’s it from my part of the world today.
Keep warm and stay safe

Happy days pretty finds and more

I’m so happy to have found these little lovelies in my local second hand shop
The teacup is so fine you can see through it cost $1.  The little pot is, I have recently discovered, intended for a roll of postage stamps. The stamps pull out through the slit in the side. Cost me $2
and is a House of Prill. So happy with it and knowing what the use for it was, can’t get rolls of stamps these days I don’t think.

I crocheted this throw rug in lovely bright colours for our sunroom. I usually like pastels but decided I wanted red accents in the sun room and so pleased with it.

Well have a nice day and stay safe my friends

Happy days doing what I love

During these days we have all been experiencing this last year, I like many of you, have been busy at home  doing things I enjoy. 😍

My little hobby business making smocked baby wear has blossomed with the help of my Etsy shop

Etsy.com/shop/jeanetteodonnell 🌸

The garden has been so lovely and such a nice distraction, as the weather has been so unpredictable it has made the flowers not sure what season it is.

The hydrangeas are blooming and it’s now the first month of Winter, although small they still make a nice little pretty inside

We even had a few roses and the Impatiens have never stopped putting on a show

Our miniature Lots of lemon tree, after five years has produced a nice little crop for the first time

Peace rose

Hibiscus

Camelia

Welcome rain

Baking has played a big part in the pleasure of being home.  I am so enjoying making sour dough bread.
The process of making and feeding the sour dough starter intrigues me  no end.  The smell of bread baking
Mmmmm is like no other.

I will be looking forward now to see what you all have been doing in these trying times
Until next time stay safe xx
