Still de cluttering after Christmas

I am still clearing and tidying and making things.

Picked a lovely bunch of roses from the garden before the terrible
wind we have been getting, tore them apart.

I bought some new roses last year, this is a David Austin Teasing Georgia
I so love it's soft colour and fragrance. It's a gentle climber.
I'm really looking forward to it covering the arch.

Mantle piece in the dining room. Some faux flowers
mixed with some dried ones

More silk roses on the sitting room sideboard

Sitting room mantle, looking bare after all it's Christmas decor

Serenity, the porcelain doll my daughter Kerry Lee made
I think I must have moved the camera, it's a bit blurred

Dressing table mirror
I made the bag from a silk print and scraps of vintage lace

Heirloom Vintage Christening Gown,it's over 100 yrs old

Some cushions I made for the chair in our bedroom

Mantle in the bedroom

Little porcelain doll Kerry Lee made again and I dressed

She is so pretty, such a delicate face

And lastly Lavinia taking pride of place on the bedroom mantle

I hope you've started the New Year with a clear head
I love to start off changing and reorganizing
It feels so good

Joining my lovely linky parties this week
the links are on my sidebar

Happy tidying

Dear Jeanette, My decorations have been down for about a week and my mantle is bare. I still haven't decorated it. Seem as though there is always something more important to do.
We love Lavinia.

Hi Jeanetteann,
Your christening gown is gorgeous and the dolls so very sweet. Such pretty roses too. It will be June before I see mine again. Thank you for sharing at my HOME.

Blessings,
Sandi

What gorgeous roses! I feel like my house looks bare after Christmas! But it gives a clean slate to start decorating anew :)
