It's getting so close and I am so far behind this year
I have been so busy this last few months
I hope things will calm down soon so that
I can concentrate on this lovely time of year
My gorgeous long legged snowman
He has taken pride of place in the entrance porch
Well I finally made a start on Christmas decorating, although
there is a lot of tweaking to do yet
I just pulled out most of the boxes and plonked everything down where
it would fit. Not great yet,but definitely getting there
.
Sitting room Mantle
Dining room mantle
Collection of Santa's
My lovely, cute Myer Christmas Bears
My little Shabby Angel tree topper.
She has been with us most of our Married life,50yrs
Would never part with her, even with her curled wing
Goldy,my Russ bear has a long wait for his Christmas dinner
He's making sure he gets pride of place at the dinner table
Even tomatoes and bay leaves look Christmassy
Couldn't resist taking this festive photo
A little reminder of what Christmas is all about
A lot more fiddling to do before it looks right
I wonder what all of you are up to with your decorating
Time for a browse of my favourite blogs

Jeanette, I had to smile. A lot of your decorations are the same as mine. Those little Santa's with their legs hanging over the mantel piece are just like mine. The sleigh is similar and the reindeer are the same vintage only mine are very OLD gold looking now.
I hope your week is kind to you.
Hugs Kay

You have so many cute little spots. I like that you include the teddy bear. I have one up in my son's room - he's 24 and doesn't live here but the teddy bear makes me happy.
You have been busy. I love how your home looks. Thank you for the tour. It was delightful to visit. Blessings, Martha
I love your holiday decorations! Looks like you are way ahead of me! I'm still working on mine.
I haven't started yet..but this weekend I'll be getting stuck into decorating!
Your home looks lovely and inviting, as always. There's something special about a mantle dressed for Christmas..it just makes me feel at 'home'. Yours is beautiful! I love all the dangling red and green legs, lol! xx
