A sneaky peak at my new Christening wear collection

I have made a start on my new Collection of Christening wear. This is just a little peak of the first one

I start off with the fabric,in this case ivory silk
I never know quite how it will end up,as I like to create as I go.

I enjoy starting off like this,it feels more creative
If I sketch the design first,I always end up changing it along the way.

I think I will embroider roses and rose buds around the hem under the pintuck

It will also have a matching bonnet and bootties

The next one in progress at the moment is in white silk

I usually almost finish one, like the one above, then start the next
This way I can glance at the first one now and then to see if it needs more
embellishment. I would rather less than more.

I'm off now to see what my fellow bloggers are creating
the links to them are on my side bar.
The linky parties are really fun
See you next week

xx jeanetteann

What a gorgeous gown. Silk is wonderful to smock isn't it?
