Afternoon tea in the sun room
with my favourite magazine
Or my knitting
In a pretty Crown Trent cup
I love the way the English teacups have a nice
large handle so my finger fits through.
Some cups are very small to hold.
A slice of boiled fruit cake on my Royal Albert forget-me-knots
I made so many hot cross buns this weekend, some with fruit
and some with chocolate for the grandchildren.
There are still plenty left
The Hibiscus are all in flower, 5 of them, all in different colours
I'll show you them all next week.
This is one of the holly hocks still in flower
They have been so good this year
I have also been getting quite stuck into my patchwork
I only have 16 large motifs to go and I can start backing it
It's only taken me about 30 yrs,and most of it was done in the last 5
I hope the start of your week is a happy one
Until next week, see you at the linky parties
Links are on my side bar

Your afternoon tea setting looks so inviting! I am afraid I would have to look at the magazine before I could knit! That looks like a comfortable teacup. I don't like the kind that flares out at the top. Enjoy! Nancy
I love tea...any time of day! Those hot cross buns look yummy. I am jealous of all your beautiful flowers. The ground is still frozen here. Winter has dug it's heals in and just doesn't want to give it up. I can't wait for my flowers to start blooming!
Thank you for sharing at to What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Have a lovely week!
Hugs,
Deborah
Oh I admire your work! Looks lovely. Hollyhocks are my favorite garden flower. All the pretty photos on the internet, I still love my magazines!
Thanks for linking up at Shabbilicious Friday this week. I really enjoyed this post.
Your cross buns look amazing...ummm
Over from Mrs. Olson...and I just linked to follow you.
A cozy tea setting with a pretty teacup! I haven't made boiled fruit cake in a while. Now you will have me craving some! ;) Your buns look good too. Thank you for sharing at my HOME and enjoy your weekend quilting.
Blessings,
Sandi

Love the teacup. Best wishes, Linda
Hello Jeanetteann!!
Hope you are having a lovely week!
I'm excited at your progress on your quilt!! You will love to have it completed I'm sure, and then you can start another!!!
I hate huge projects that I never finish...all of them are just sitting around my house in bags or boxes or closets. I really need to FINISH them! The red sampler I worked on all last year is almost finished, but then I got sidetracked on the craft room swapping around and never did finish. Sigh...Guilt.
Oh well. Someday!!
Thanks so much for joining me for my party this week and sharing your pretty teacup and flower...
I always love popping in to see your goodies! But now I'm hungry for hot cross buns!!!
Blessings,
Doni
Oh, what a pretty quilt! Looks like you had a happy week. :) I'm sharing my Fresh Strawberry Cream Torte today for my Homemaking Linkup. I hope you'll join us!

Hi Jeanetteann,
So nice to meet you! Your afternoon sounds absolutely dreamy! Creating, baking, reading and indulging in some sweetness - what else could a girl ask for?
Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods!

I love your china! What a lovely way to have tea. Thank you for sharing. You will be one of the features at the Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. Hope to see your prettiness again at the bash! Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
Beautiful tea Jeanette Ann. I love the forget me nots! I can't wait to see your quilt finished. I am making a quilt that has a few of those so I know how much work they are. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
