Taking tea in the sun room & my thrifty finds this week

We are taking tea in the sun room today

Roses from the garden

The day is beautiful, the sun a lovely, not too hot 25 c
The scent from the freshly cut roses, mmmm lovely

I am using my fine china tea and coffee cups.

The little coffee cup is a Johnson Bros, England

An English Windsor
Don't you just love the delicate pale lemon with the flowers
I especially love the shape of the saucer.

The Rose bouquet is lovely with the mixture of colours.
It is called Nosegay, by Royal Albert, England

We are having lemon biscuits served from my Grandma's lovely glass cake stand
It was handed down to my late mother and then to me.

Thrifty Finds

I had such a nice day looking around my favourite charity shop.
I found these lovely English pint milk bottles in lovely condition.
I had dried some Statis from the garden,
so displayed it in the bottles, until I get more fresh blooms in the garden

They even have the Dairy they were from stamped on them.

I just love them to bits. I couldn't believe my luck
and they were only $2 each

This nice little terracotta tray and pots was only $2
I am going to plant little herbs in them and label
with some French images.

I hope you enjoy a lovely week

Hi Jeanette,
I'll be around in a minute for tea and scones, or should I wait until 4:00?! It looks so lovely, and the china is divine, each pattern more lovely than the last. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Big hugs,

Jeanetteann,
So glad you visited me today!
I look forward to working with your friend. When she orders... tell her to mention you referred her. If she buys three sets or more... I will send you a free set.
LOVE your tea cups!! I especially love the floral and chintz ones. I collect tea cups and found a "tea cup" shelf last year that I painted pink to hold part of my collection.
What a pretty sun room! Love the lace tablecloth. I would love to come and have tea with you.
Happy Easter to you and your sweet daughter!
Will visit again soon.

What a wonderful spot to drink your tea! Your teacups and coffee cup are lovely and the milk bottles, a real find!
My father had found a few bottles but they disappeared after he passed away. I would love to have kept a couple! We always had milk and cream in bottles when I was growing up.
Thanks for joining me for tea and Happy Easter!

Blessings,
Sandi

We've been having tea in the sunroom...with the rain beating down on the roof! I love all your pretty teacups!

The Prince's Regeneration saved Middleport pottery last fall where Burleigh works and saved it from closing. I was so happy! Thanks for linking with Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Dearest Jeanettann,

Wishing you a Happy 2nd Easter day, as the 1st one will be over with on your end of the world.
This tea setting in your sun room was lovely. Roses, lace and great china do create the perfect romantic setting. It does lift us up and makes for instant happiness.
Love to you,

Hi Jeanetteann, love this post! Your dishes are so beautiful! Love that gorgeous rose. Hubby made me a cute little fenced area in one corner last Fall. Originally I thought I would plant vegetables. The more I look at it it screams 'Rose Garden'. I think I am going to have to do it. Thanks for sharing at my party! Hope you will share often!!
Hugs,
Jann
