Heirloom linen

I had a lovely day today playing in my sewing room.
I felt like sorting through my stash of white fabric and lace.
I made two pairs of heirloom pillow slips, using what I had.
I was so pleased with the result,I have listed this pair in my Etsy shop, $35 pr, and kept the ones below for myself.

I will be joining White Wednesday this week at Faded Charm, and

Home and Garden Thursday at A Delightsome Life
Pearls and Lace at Faith Grace Craft
Vintage thingie Thursday at Colorado Lady
Show and Tell Friday, My Romantic Home
and

This beautiful table cloth in the palest of pink and hand stitched with drawn thread work.
Can you see the drawn thread squares.  They are all over the cloth and no damage anywhere.

I found it at a new recycle shop we have here, for $4. It is in perfect condition, I so love it.

This isn't a flaw, it is a drawn thread which runs right around the cloth.
This is for Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound and Show and Tell Monday,House in the Roses.

I hope you are enjoying the start of your week.

Your linens are beautiful and that baby doll is so adorable. Looks like a Lee Middleton baby Janae used to have. Have a great week!

Lovely vintage linens! I love them and have some I need to find...The baby doll is wonderful. Is it a Byelo or a more recent version?

Hello Jeanetteann,
thanks for linking up to Simply Sweet today - it's lovely to meet another Aussie blogger :-)
Your heirloom pillowcases are truly beautiful!
And $4 for that pretty pink tablecloth was quite a bargain!
You have a gorgeous blog!
I can see we definitely have similar taste because I own some of the same items in your photos, lol!
Looking forward to visiting you more often.

What a nice job you did on your pillow slips! I always get unreasonably elated when I find a new piece of linen. So much potential there! Have a great weekend!

Hi Jeanette! Such lovelies in white this week - with my cats, though, I usually like something with just a touch of muted tones to hide the fur . . .

But, all your healthy fooks this week! Wow! Your runner beans plate is stunning, too! Gotta get more of this stuff in our house!

The Pinterest thing is a but daunting now. Not sure what to really look for in relation to my pins. Do I have to click on all of them to check to see if I can keep them? Ya! Just another thing to schedule. Think I'll get the taxes done first, though . . .

Joy!
Kathy
