A very productive week

I have been practicing my crochet for weeks now and today completed this cotton bag
It is available for sale in my etsy shop for $35

I made the cushion first because I wanted to change my sitting room cushions to a lighter look
They were burgundy floral and quite dark. I wanted to lighten things up a bit.

With  Valentines day, I thought hearts,so this little bridal favour I made from bits and pieces from my stash, available from my etsy too.

What could be nicer than a heart shaped cake.

Remember the fondant roses I made a few posts ago,

Well this is the finished cake.  I have to practice lots more, but I didn't mind the finish,
and Jessica loved it.

I am joining these parties this week
Show off your Cottage Monday at House in the Roses
Home and garden Thursday at A Delightsome Life
Open house party, at No Minimalist Here
Show and tell Friday at My Romantic Home
Home Sweet Home at The Charm of Home
Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound
Happy Valentines xx Jeanetteann

Oh, I love your crocheted bag. It brought back the memory of the early 70's, when I made some for the neighborhood girls for $2. That was a lot of money then since all we did was babysit for $.50 an hour. The skein cost me $.50. So I made a whopping $1.50 in profit for each one. The cake is so pretty.

What a darling cake! It would be so nice to be able to decorate like that. But that cushion really enchants me. It's beautiful. Your comment to me was over the top sweet! I appreciate it so much. Happy Valentine's Day!!

Dearest Jeanetteann,

Do you have the new interface from Blogger? In order to take this double word verification off, you have to go back to the old interface first.
Love your crocheted purse; very well done and also the pillow. The roses on the cake are looking so special. You deserve lots of compliments!
Love to you and success with your word verification removal.

I'll say it was a productive week. I envy your crocheting talent. I have not tried it since I was first married. Got discouraged because I did it way too tight. Love the cake. Your roses are just beautiful!
