House plant love

 Hi everyone

I know I have not been posting much but we are housebound at the moment as Hubby has Covid. So I have now found a little me time to tell you of my latest love, house plants.

Over the years I have had house plants in our sunroom but never seemed to be able to get them going and healthy.

Well lately I have made it a routine to feed and water on a regular basis. I water on Sundays and mist spray every day when the weather is warm.  We are now into autumn and we are still experiencing quite warm weather.

I feed liquid fertiliser monthly and sometimes slow release fertiliser too.

I have wanted a pretty face pot for so long but they are very expensive.  To my delight I found this sweet girl in the reject shop for $8.  What a bargain.

I wanted to give her hair so went shopping at Bunnings and found this Peperomia which is perfect and grows quickly,  so I’ve taken some cuttings from her and potted them up.  Here’s hoping.

Now apparently, there are quite a few different peperomia. This is peperomia Jade

She has grown a little more since I took this photo, so I am delighted.

This is an umbrella tree and doing  very   well too.

Ok now I am back into the swing of things again and looking forward to visiting some of you.

Thank you for visiting xx jeanetteann

Hi Jeanette, how lovely to visit you. Plants inside the home is always a fabulous idea. Your girl planter is a pretty one, and doesn't she look lovely with her Peperomia hair. I must say your umbrella tree is thriving.
