Christmas Tea Cosy and Tea station

I have seen lots of lovely tea/coffee stations around blogland
and redid mine for Christmas
I thought a nice Christmas tea cosy would be appropriate.

I used a piece of wool blanketing I had on hand
and embroidered it freehand with some holly
and writing

I thought this pretty floral cotton would look nice as the lining

I placed the lining right sides together with the embroidered piece
then placed a piece of wadding over this

Machine stitched around the edges leaving a small opening for turning

Turn right side out and invisible stitch the opening closed
Fold in half and add ribbon ties at the side.

Tea/Coffee station
Everything on hand

Then I made some Chocolate fudge for gifting to friends
I think it's nice to take something sweet with a bottle of wine
when invited to Christmas lunches.
I'll cut it into little squares and package it up nicely

I'll add a ribbon and note and I think we're done

Have a lovely decorating, baking week

My mistake! I was just going through your blog and realized I saw your tulle tree a couple weeks ago? That is I think how I found you. As I went to become a follower I realized I was already one! Lol!

Hi Jeanetteann,
That fudge sure looks good! Your tea cozy is very pretty. I have one which a bloggy friend made and sent to me a couple of years ago. It is in my coffee station too covering a favourite little teapot. Thanks for sharing and coming to my HOME. Have a lovely week, my friend.

Christmas blessings,
Sandi

Beautiful tea cosy and I love your tea station - it makes me want a cup of tea right now :) I made a hot cocoa station in my kitchen and my 4 1/2 year old son is loving it :) I think I might have to add some cookies to it as well.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Stephanie

Your tea cozy is sweet. I can't believe you did that freehand! (Well of course I believe you, because you are so talented). I would have needed a pattern.

I love my coffee/tea station. It is so handy to have everything in one place.

Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!
