One of my passions is pink depression glass
I love it, especially when the light shines through it.
Today we are taking morning tea in the sun room,as the Spring sunshine is lovely
That is until this afternoon, when a windy bit of wild weather is forecast
We are having Tulsi blend Indian tea with pomegranate and green
Fresh sliced pears and orange
With yoghurt
Orange cake, this cake is a firm texture as it's made with the whole
orange, peel and everything and is quite delicious.
I even like washing up when I use nice glassware or china,
I like to touch it and look at it, it's so pretty.
I so love Freesias, a dear friend gave them to me from her garden
for my birthday, they smell so beautiful
They look so sweet in my cherub vase
I did so enjoy today's morning tea.
I hope you did too

You have a lovely collection of pink depression glass. I am always drawn to it when I see it at an antique store. It's just a a matter of time before I cave in & buy some.
What a lovely set! And the cake looks delicious.

Very pretty pink depression glass! I have a dessert tray in it somewhere. I forgot all about it! Your floral arrangement is pretty and what a unique vase!
I love your pink glass dishes! A wonderful collection. They always shout summer to me. I love freesias as well. We lived once in an area where I could grow them, and had them in tubs around the stairs into the house. Such a lovely fragrance! Thanks for sharing and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

I love pink Depression glass too, so I immediately wanted to pop over to see yours! Your recipes sound wonderful, especially that orange cake! I hope you'll share the recipe some day. My MIL gave me her 4 cups and 2 saucers in Cherry Blossom, by Jeannette Glass. I must find 2 more saucers, but I've used 2 for tea with a friend, and did a post on it too! Hope you'll visit back! ~Zuni
Beautiful Pink Depression Glass, I collect jadeite and the Pink Glass sure pops with it! Thanks for paying me a visit, I do sell my Paper Posy Dolls they are in my Etsy Shop. I am now your newest follower, Happy Belated Birthday my dear~ Hugs, Diane
I don't know what the pink glass reminds me of---calm moments and childhood tea parties and best dresses and gloves, perhaps, with the prospect of a lovely time with friends. It's such a charming table you set, and so welcoming and sweet.
There's just SOMETHING about that clear pink . . .
rachel
I also love pink depression glass and your morning tea looks so lovely! I have the same dish rack and I love the way my pink depression glass shines on it while drying as well!
Thanks for sharing your pieces!
