Hand made Gift bags and thrifty finds

I got into some sewing this week
I had a decent size piece of hessian left from my Paris cushion
I thought I would team it with some vintage lace I hand dyed

These little gift bags were the result.

They could be used for dried lavender, gifts or just to
decorate ,hanging on door or drawer handles

They are available in my Etsy Shop for $10
I ship International, but email me for the cost.
They are quite light,so don't cost much to ship

These are my beautiful thrifty finds this week
I had an extremely exciting day at my daughters local church sale

Another grape silver jug to match my collection

A little present from my daughter

Lace table cloth, which just needs a little mending around the edge,$1

This lovely glass bowl, another gift from my DD

Gorgeous little tartan Thermos flask

I couldn't believe this little beauty for $2.50
Perfect condition enamel bowl

Lovely shopping basket $2 as was the flask

2 little crochet doilies  20c each

I hope you had an equally thrifty week

Those little bags are just adorable!

I did have a good thrift find this week--got a cabinet that I can't wait to paint.

Thanks for your message on my Janae's birthday post. I will look forward to seeing your dreamcatcher when you make one! I think I will do a tutorial soon.

Have a good day!

Your needlework is so beautiful! I've made christening gowns back in the 90s. They're a labor of love--even if you sell them! I'm following you, too, now! Thanks for following The Country Farm Home!

What a wonderful Bloggy you have here. Beautiful bags you have made in this post, and of course all the vintage finds are amazing.

Stunning flower photos on your sidebar and throughout your posts. I enjoyed my visit very much and will be back. I'm a new follower.

Hope you will have a chance to stop by CollectInTexas Gal to see my latest Vintage Find. I think you will really enjoy the story that goes with it, and I know you will appreciate it's vintage craftsmanship.

You did very well on the little gift bags. My only problem, I never buy anything that would fit into them.
