The searing heat is continuing,but the garden,especially the sunflowers is surviving well. We have been using the tank water though to keep it alive.
The Hibiscus love the heat and are coming into bloom
The Marigolds are doing well in with the veggies
Roses are survivors ,tuff as old boots

Another sunflower about to burst into all its glory. I planted these from seed,but started them off in a seed tray in the sun room because other years the birds have got the seeds before they could germinate
We get the odd strawberry before the birds.
The tomatoes are getting huge. They will be just about ripe by the time the tiny toms have finished.
We have been very pleased with the veggie garden this year.
Plenty of basil to go with the tomato dishes.
Little cucumbers getting bigger every day
Capsicums getting plumper. I want to leave them to become sweet and red.

You do have a amazing garden! It is hard to believe we live in the same world--my garden is totally dead and ugly. It is raining so hard I get soaked just trying to get to the car. But I can look forward to in a few months a beautiful garden too. Thanks for sharing!
So Jeanette....I am terrible with Geography....are you having summer now? And when you say 41 degrees...that is Celcius??
Here in Arizona now we are having Fall/Spring like weather...in the 70's F, but it cools off more at night.
Your flowers and vegetables are beautiful and I am so jealous! The sunflowers, I love them but the tomatoes and peppers,basil, I miss them so! Enjoy and please keep posting photos, it gives me hope. LOL.
Great fresh garden vegies..that basil looks wonderful and can only imagine the perfume!

We had cold, cold snow here today. But I like it too....it keeps me indoors, creating away in my studio!

Your garden is beautiful. I can't wait for spring so I can work in my again.
Your garden looks bountiful and I love the sunflowers...my favorite:) I'm sad to say there is not much growing in my garden now with the winter freeze. No rain, just freezing! Not very typical for California, but getting use to the crazy weather changes every year.
