I picked beans, tomatoes, baby spinach and lettuce today
What a lovely combination to go with homemade lasagne, ummmm
I decided to use my pink shabby china and pink French wine glasses because I am joining Beverly for Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound
Cos Lettuce doing very well growing alongside the Marigolds
I heard that Marigolds keep the bugs at bay, we'll see.
Lots of our herbs do well in the barrels, like the basil and coriander
Capsicums doing well in front too
These are Black Russion tomatoes, but no fruit yet
We also have Big Red too which are fruiting
Trying to keep the birds off them is proving to be a challenge.

You are lucky to live where there is still fresh vegetables, we have cold and ice here. Enjoy. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I started off being jealous of all your beautiful veggies and then I scrolled down and saw your beautiful tags. I am new to your blog and will definitely be following you now. Patty
JanetteAnn, what a lovely garden, we have tomatoes growing but are also far from being ready, we've only been able to eat a couple..everything is way behind due to this crazy weather we're having in the Hunter Valley. Your freshly picked veggie salad and lasagna looks perfect!
Love your pink and white dishes, and also your pink trimmed glasses. How lucky you are to have fresh vegies. Your post made me lonesome for summer!
Thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my post.
