Baby shawl, my latest Craft Project

My latest craft project

Crocheted baby shawl

I had some left over wool from a past project, which had been sitting in my knitting basket waiting for a new project inspiration

I sat down with my crochet hook and started with just a simple double crochet

I got hooked (pardon the pun) and just kept going round and round.

Then I started treble crochet and created a scalloped edge, which I think just adds a little, pretty finish

I didn't really know in the

beginning what it would be,but it became obvious as It got bigger, and the colour white lent inself to a baby shawl.

As I make Christening gowns, I thought a shawl would be appropriate.

I may just open an Etsy shop.

What do you think?

That's beautiful! It really would be perfect with a christening gown. I love the scalloped edge.

Your craft work is beautiful, some baby is going to love this. My dear mother always made homemade things for new babies, not so many people do that theses days. Thanks for becoming a follower of, My Old Historic House. I am your newest fan as well. I hope to see loots more from you in the New Year. Merry Christmas.Richard
