cooking day

I had a lovely day today. I made bread which made the house smell divine and marmalade because I had been given some grapefruit and couldn't bare to let them waste.

We had this old wall cabinet in the bathroom. When we redid the bathroom there was no room for it, so we took the mirror out of the door and put the cupboard onto the kitchen wall and decorpaged the door with labels. We filled it with little jars we found in a $2 shop to keep herbs and spices.

update on my wormfarm

after a few months of feeding my new worm farm I can now show you how they have so quickly come on and boy can they eat. They are already on the second tray. I also have had 6 big bottles of worm juice for my vegy patch.

todays finds

I found some really good treasures today, two beautifully hand embroidered supper cloths. One with a crinoline lady in each corner, and the other beautiful flowers. They cost a mere $5 each but I also bought 6 lovely soup plates with flowers and a couple of other little things and the owner of my local secondhand shop gave me the lot for $10, I felt like I had won the lottery xx
