I made the bonnet for my sugar britches doll out of an embroidered hankerchief. To make just stitch a piece of elastic around the flat hanky using a zig zag stitch not letting the stitching touch the elastic otherwise the elastic will not stretch. The hanky will then become cupped. with the embroidery at the front tuck under the corrosponding corner and stitch a ribbon to each corner opposite each side of front. The bonnet is now compete. xx
